Hello I’m Tim Maier. I’d like to speak to you for a minute about how to choose the best IP attorney for your growing organization to manage you intellectual property. It is absolutely vital to choose an attorney of a firm that has prior USPTO experience as either a patent examiner or a trademark examiner because those attorneys know how to process work, they know the mindset of a patent office. It will pay off in dividends if you choose a firm that has former USPTO experience and is located close to the PTO. Close proximity to the PTO allows personal access to the examiners. Personal face to face interviews will save time and money and get better results for your intellectual property portfolio. Please consider these things when choosing the best patent firm for your IP.
