Hi I’m Chris Maier. Today I would like to talk to you about some of the green tech initiatives that the patent office is currently implementing. Commissioners campost have put out mandate that new green or earth friendly applications can enjoy expedited examinations. Now what this means is that you file a green tech application and it fulfills several standards that the patent office has outlined they will  speed up the examination process decreasing the prosecution time from the average of 28 to 30 months to perhaps as low as 10 to 15 months.
